What is Cosmetic Tattooing?
Cosmetic tattooing is semi-permanent makeup that is applied using a specially designed cosmetic tattooing device. Unlike traditional body tattooing, cosnetic tattooing penetrates only the upper layers of the dermis and uses a pigment that is formulated to fade over time. The pigment is gradually worn away as the body regenerates and replaces old cells with new ones. With proper care cosmetic tattooing can last anywhere from 9 months to 2 years.
Cosmetic tattooing is a treatment that is well suited to women who are time poor, clients with hair loss or alopecia, clients with vitiligo or other pigmentation disorders. It is also suitable for women who are prone to oily skin and struggle to keep makeup on all day.
